The property consists of 6 acres of land located on the main tourist road to the famous Caracol Maya ruins and other tourist attractions.

A restaurant, bar, dining room and kitchen. A reception office is attached to the front of the building.

There is an area for RV parking and a hiking trail leads to a nearby, impressive waterfall. The creeks are popular with the guests for relaxing and playing.
The property is remotely located deep in the Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve and about 15 miles from the popular tourist town of San Ignacio. This road is currently being paved for quick and easy access. It is considered a safe area.
Local wild life includes tapirs, coatimundi, fox, anteater and ocelot. There are many exotic birds and the resort is popular with birding groups.
The Eco Resort income is further supplemented by tours and the sale of tilapia fish and jumbo shrimp, grown in two ponds on the property.
Tours are arranged to the nearby Caracol Maya Ruins, Rio Frio Caves, Rio On Pools, and Thousand Foot Falls and further afield to the ATM caves, Xunantunich Maya Ruins and the world-famous Maya Ruins at Tikal in Guatemala.
The resort is designed for low overhead and operational costs and has only one full-time employee.
There are many different fruit trees and orchids are in abundance growing on trees throughout the property.
The resort was awarded Trip Advisor’s prestigious Certificate of Excellence in 2019 and Traveller’s Choice award in 2020.
The genuine reason for sale is the fact that the owners’ have a young daughter and they want to re-locate closer to schools and other children.
